Alli & Paul Richmond

A Father–Daughter Journey On the Field, In the Classroom, and In Life

For the Richmond family, sports were never just about wins and losses.

They were about discipline. Identity. Perspective. Preparation for life beyond the game.

What started as a father introducing his daughters to competition evolved into a shared journey through collegiate athletics, education, life experience, and meaningful conversations that now extend far beyond the field.

Paul Richmond — Educator, Coach, Entrepreneur

Paul competed collegiately in golf at the University of Charleston, where he distinguished himself both athletically and academically.

A Two-Time Academic All-American, Paul exemplified the balance between elite performance and classroom excellence — a standard that would later define his professional life. Golf, a sport built on precision and mental toughness, sharpened his focus, emotional control, and commitment to long-term improvement.

Today, Paul is a high school teacher and high school softball coach, mentoring students daily at a critical stage in their development. In the classroom and on the field, he integrates lessons from athletics, leadership, and financial literacy — challenging students to think beyond the moment and build lives grounded in ownership and discipline.

In addition to education, Paul has experience in entrepreneurship and community-centered business ventures, blending athletics, investing principles, and mentorship into a consistent mission: helping young people create opportunity and identity beyond the scoreboard.

His philosophy:

  • Compete with integrity

  • Play the long game

  • Build character before building a résumé

  • Develop identity beyond the uniform

Alli Richmond — Division I Athlete & Corporate Professional

Alli’s path to Division I softball was built on years of disciplined training, competitive travel seasons, and relentless preparation.

At Binghamton University, she competed at the Division I level in the America East Conference, contributing both offensively and defensively while balancing the demands of high-level academics.

Collegiate Highlights:

  • Appeared in 150+ career games

  • 2 time 1st team All Conference

  • Career batting average above .300

  • America East Women of the Year finalist

  • Ranked 19th in all of D1, in doubles per game (2022)

Beyond statistics, Alli earned respect for her preparation, leadership presence, and consistency under pressure — traits that translate well beyond the field.

Following college, she transitioned into a corporate career, applying the discipline, accountability, and competitive mindset developed through athletics to business strategy and team dynamics.

The Richmond Way

The Richmond story isn’t about trophies.

  • Effort over entitlement

  • Ownership over excuses

  • Long-term thinking over short-term validation

  • Identity beyond the game

Golf and softball built focus and resilience.
Education built influence.
Corporate experience built execution.
Podcasting built impact.

And the journey continues.
